Don’t like that diy studio guide. If I’d read that when I first wanted to record to computer I would have not even bothered. I suppose it’s fine if you’ve got lots of money and actually want to build a whole DAW setup from scratch, but who would want to do that?
All I did was plug my guitar into the line in on my computer and cracked a copy of Acid. (Even just a copy of Audacity would do)
My current setup doesn’t even come close to what that guide has down as the most basic gear to start recording with. But somehow I’m getting a record released at the end of the month.
People have too much money.
That’s pretty cool…I’m not planning on doing any recording but a friend of mine is always looking for an alternative to paying for stuido time so I save these links! You can’t expect me to know anything about them!!
